At D&R, we take pride in keeping our customer’s spas spotless and enjoyable. We provide weekly or twice-weekly spa maintenance to rid your oasis of the muck that builds up from everyday use and natural processes. Our team treats your spa like it would be their own.

Things to know

Weekly or 2x-Weekly Visits

In order to uphold our standard for enjoyable spas, it is required to get your spa serviced at least once a week. Anything longer can diminish the quality of your spa experience. Having a party? We can do an additional service to accommodate more swimmers or attempt to move your service date the best we can.

Easy Billing

No required commitment to use us for service. In order to make this a simple experience for you, we provide a smooth and simple billing process; cancel anytime. We accept all credit cards, checks, cash, and maintain a PCI compliance environment for your security and a hassle-free experience.

Sanitation Systems

Salt chlorination, ozonators, and automatic chemical feeding systems are great, however they do not fully eliminate the need for other chemicals or filter media. Spas also require a range of chemicals that are needed to uphold water chemistry balance.

Water & Electric

We will need outside water spigot access to clean any filters, or top off your spa if it loses water due to evaporation or leaks. Outdoor power outlet access is required if we need to plug in any equipment.

Locked Access

For property ease of access – if you will not be home, please provide us with any access keys, codes, or instructions for your specified entrance areas. We will always leave your property in the condition we found it, and secure any entryways.

Water Chemistry

Water chemistry is the most important facet to a well maintained spa. Protect equipment, water bacterial levels, and prevent algae growth. D&R focuses on taking special care of your investment – with perfect water chemistry.

Spa Maintenance Service Process

Steps we take for successful spa maintenance service
Sign Up

We inspect your spa’s area to determine it’s environmental factors, and service costs. Upon sign up you will be given a fair cost, with no commitment – to maintain your spa to our best standards.

Weekly or 2x-Weekly Visits

We will come on your specified assigned day(s) each week. We will never miss a day and will keep you updated. D&R works through the rain, but if we are unable to reach your spa, we will do so at the earliest convenience.

The Cleaning

Your spa is vacuumed and netted to perfection – sucking out all of the debris on both the floor and surface of your spa. Empty your skimmer baskets and clean the cartridge filters. Brush the walls to rid any slime and surface buildup along the water line. Rinse off any equipment and scrub the steps. If it’s a detail, we won’t miss it.

Spa Equipment

Visually inspect, backwash, and re-charge any filters that need DE. Sand and cartridge filters do not require a re charge, however we will clean them periodically for optimal performance.Β If we notice any leaks or equipment failure, the maintenance technician will contact the service department to fix it immediately.

Chemical Balancing

Thoroughly balance and maintain 7 parameters of pool chemicals to APSP and ANSI standards weekly. We are experienced in various size spas and can calculate the gallons and chemical requirements for all spas.

Customer Support

Excellent customer service and support. We make it convenient for you. If it is after hours we encourage you to try texting us for emergencies.

Never in our lives would we be thinking about writing this message.This is devastating; we hope you haven’t been directly affected. We’re all hysterical that we cannot interact with each other. Kids & grandchildren – it is such a terrible feeling; but we can only play our parts. As much as we hear it every day; it’s time for D&R to address any concerns regarding COVID – 19 Coronavirus concerns and how we are changing operations until further notice. We believe in the safety of all of our clients, staff, and family. We request you make any exceptions to how our service works for the safety of all parties. We will continue to do our best as always promised.

Below is information taken directly off of the CDC’s website:

Q: “Can the COVID-19 virus spread through pools and hot tubs?”
A: There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19. Chlorine easily kills this virus.

We all still need to be vigilant and follow the CDC guidelines pertaining to basic hygiene to prevent the spread of the virus. However, the use of your pool or spa will not increase your chances of contracting it.

Most of our clients have second homes here in the Hamptons. If you choose to seek refuge, to keep your family and loved ones in a safer space; we are offering to open your pools and spas earlier than anticipated, to give you a sense of normalcy and entertainment, while we wait this unfortunate situation out.

Our technicians are all practicing safe and effective hygiene, and always have sanitizers and cleaners for our equipment on hand, as well. We ask that you stay inside from our employees during visits; as we are insisting on safe distancing. Any questions can be called in immediately to our office and will be relayed to our employees immediately. This keeps us all safe for the time being and we appreciate your understanding of the current situation.
